PostSubject: EKMEK VAR MI?   Fri May 08, 2009 11:35 pm

Konuşma (Dialogue )

Karen is on holiday. She goes into the local grocer's to buy some food to make breakfast. She's keen to use the Turkish she's learned.

Karen: Merhaba.
Bakkal: Günaydın efendim.
Karen: Ekmek var mı?
Bakkal: Var
Karen: Bir ekmek lütfen. (points at a sausage) Bu ne? Salam mı?
Bakkal: Salam değil, sucuk.
Karen: Güzel mi?
Bakkal: Çok güzel.
Karen: Yüz gram sucuk lütfen.
Bakkal: Tabii efendim.
Karen: Yeşil zeytin var mı?
Bakkal: Yeşil zeytin yok. Siyah var.
Karen: Peki. İki yüz gram lütfen.

1- Read the dialogue and answer the following questions with var or yok.

1 Ekmek var mı?
2 Salam var mı?
3 Yeşil zeytin var mı?
4 Siyah zeytin var mı?

2- Reorder the sentences below to form a meaningful dialogue.
